HG Partners, a boutique advisory firm and Escapee Collective originally launched a consulting rate survey in the winter of 2025 to help freelance consultants improve their engagement fees and make sure they were getting paid what they were worth.

We received tremendous interest in the results and realized that there was no good data-based resource to help the growing number of consultants set their rates.

From that, the Prosper Pricing was born.
